What are the sources supported by the SharePoint Migration Tool?
SharePoint Migration Tool supports: Google Sites (Classic Sites and New Sites), SharePoint Classic Site collections and modern sites, and Sites attached to Microsoft Teams.
Will my migration be throttled?
The SharePoint Migration Tool uses the Microsoft import service and Graph APIs to limit the use of CSOM calls, which is the most throttled protocol. You can create additional connectors associated with different Azure AD applications to perform more calls in parallel and increase throughput. The automatic retry mechanisms should allow to retry automatically calls and respect Microsoft throttling limitations.
Is the migration transparent to users?
Yes. Cloudiway makes a copy of the source site. The source site is not modified - the SharePoint Migration Tool accesses it in read-only mode and the site remains fully available to users that are not migrated yet to the target tenant.
Can I migrate Google Sites to SharePoint Online?
Yes, Cloudiway supports both Classic Google Sites and New Google Sites migration to SharePoint Online. This includes pages, permissions, menus, layouts, images, files, folders, embedded content, and more.
