Is the Windows user profile preserved?
Yes, the user's Windows profile is fully preserved during migration. Users keep their desktop, documents, app settings, browser profiles, Outlook profiles, and other personal data.
Are Outlook profiles and Office licenses migrated?
Yes, Outlook profiles are automatically migrated including email accounts and settings. Office licenses are preserved and reactivated with target tenant credentials.
How does the agent get deployed?
For Entra ID Joined devices, deploy the MSI via Intune, GPO, or manual installation. For Entra ID Registered devices, you can use automated deployment through the Cloudiway platform.
What happens to OneDrive during migration?
OneDrive stops syncing with the source tenant after migration. When the user logs in with target credentials, OneDrive automatically begins syncing with the target tenant.
What about BitLocker encrypted devices?
BitLocker encryption keys are automatically backed up to the target tenant during migration ensuring continued data protection and recovery capability.
